Aundrea: Owner of Last Chance of Hope

Black and white close-up portrait of a smiling woman with long dark hair and light eyes.

Last Chance of Hope Owned and Operated by Aundrea Baker

Drea started Last Chance of Hope on the family hobby farm after acquiring a rescue goat. As Hope the goat was pregnant and producing an excess of milk, we had to find a use for it.

Initially, the milk was all turned into handmade soap and sold at various craft shows. 1 rescue goat soon turned into a few rescue goats, some cats, some dogs and many more over the years.

As Hope got older and the milk supply dropped off, the products were transitioned away from soap to textiles. The product line now focuses on pot holders, table savers, clappers , pan handles and bowl cozies as well as crocheted items, all handmade on the family hobby farm in Shawano.

With 1 retail location in Green bay here at Wonders by Woman and doing a few craft shows a year, the legacy of a random rescue goat that launched a business lives on and as needed, helps support a rescue animal if able.

Cara: Owner of Pink Fox

A woman wearing clear glasses, a pink and cream knit beanie, and a matching scarf, smiling indoors with decorative greenery and jewelry in the background.

Cara is a self-proclaimed geriatric millennial, mom, wife, gamer, and the creative mind behind Pink Fox Woodshop. She started Pink Fox in 2021 as a way to reclaim some “me” time from her ever busy stay-at-home mom life. She is a believer that all tiny things are cute, but not all cute things are tiny, and she's pretty sure the saying 'I brake for yard sales, thrift stores, and weird stuff left on the curb' was written specifically about her. She enjoys long walks on the beach (no really, she was born and raised in California), a good cup of caffeinated bean water, and spending time with her incredible husband of 17 years, their 4 year old son, 2 rescue dogs, and a grumpy old cat.

Whether it's geeky, quirky, or just plain fun, everything she creates is made with love, imagination, and probably a little (A LOT of) caffeine.

Dori,
Owner of Uniquely Dori

Woman with red hair, wearing glasses and a floral headband, smiling outdoors with a large tree and a wooden roofed structure in the background.

What started out for me as a hobby and love for miniatures, dollhouses, and gardening turned into something amazing. It grew into Uniquely Dori. The creation of fairy gardens and fairy garden accessories was something I became very interested in and quickly read any book I could find on creating dollhouses, miniatures, and miniature gardens. I started to show at Arts and Crafts fairs and Shawano’s Farmers Market on Saturdays 8 years ago.I love thinking

Outside of the box and creating something for others to enjoy. As a former classroom teacher for 23 years, I have decided to start a new adventure with the arts and crafts and place my items for sale at Wonders by Women. Now that I am an online reading tutor I have more time to dedicate to my favorite hobby

Transitioning into video production, I had a video production internship at UW-Green Bay and became a video editor and camera operator.
The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awarded us second place for our sport’s show to which I was the editor.

She recently has been wanting to expand her creative outlets and quickly realized she may not need 30 new pairs of earrings every month. Even though she currently lives outside of WI, she was encouraged to share her talents by her husband, Tim who has a voiceover business (and sells some T-shirts) also through Wonders by Women. Mary tends to make one-of-a-kind pieces but may be able to reproduce certain pieces if desired. The best way to contact her is through her Instagram page, which she also encourages you to follow.

Melanie: Owner of Partners in Grime

A young woman with long blonde hair smiling in a sleeveless black and white tie-dye shirt, taking a selfie indoors with a warm smile and natural sunlight on her face.

Hello! My name is Melanie Servia I am currently 23 years old and the owner of Partners in Grime Fox Cities LLC.
Partners in Grime was a product of hard work, dedication, and taking advantage of the opportunity at hand. What started out as a side hustle to afford groceries during the COVID lockdown in 2020 quickly turned into my full time gig. By May of 2021 our LLC was official and I had quit my other jobs at Panda Express and Bed Bath and Beyond.

While working to build a team and grow the business I soon realized that I am not the only person who strives to be able build something for myself as well as help others in our community. We are proud to announce that we are currently working to develop an employee owned program. Meaning team members who are interested in learning more and growing with us to become a partial owner in the business. I have learned so much by being self employed, and I am excited to continue to learn and help inspire others to do the same!

He currently lives in New Mexico but originally hails from Wisconsin, and graduated from UW-Green Bay like many other in the Wonders by Women team.

As astute observers may have noticed, Tim is not a woman, nor does he or has he ever identified as one. So why has he joined the Wonders by Women collective? Tim believes in the power of women-owned businesses and knows that female business owners don’t get the same privileges he has experienced as a man. He wants to use his platform to support anyone who needs to put a professional-grade voice behind something.

If you’re looking for a female voice actor, Tim encourages you to find one! Some of his favorite voice acting follows on Facebook (Laura Burrows, Tawny Platis, etc.) are women, and his personal vocal coach (Alyson Steel) is too. Tim doesn’t want people to see his involvement with Wonders by Women as taking away a woman’s voice. Instead, he wants to use his business to empower anyone whose business or project could use the boost that high-quality voice acting can deliver.
