Student Volunteer Social. Making Animal Toys for The CART Auxiliary

$0.00

Wonders By Women is hosting a Student Led Volunteer Opportunity for youth in the Green Bay Area.
Genevieve Steffel and Vlad Muthig, students at Franklin Middle School, wants to help support The CART Auxiliary, a local non profit Animal Rescue organization, by providing them with toys for the animals they rescue, as well as other items.

Youth participating in this event will be making a variety of toys, and fabric tug bones for Dogs, Cats and Other Critters. All supplies will be provided at the event.

To Participate: adults must register their children for one or more of the days and times these crafting events will be held. Wonders By Women is limiting groups of kids to 5 youth at a time, to ensure there is enough working space for the youth participating. Adults do not need to attend this event with their child BUT we do need emergency contact information for the youth to ensure we can easily reach parents if any emergency is to arise.

Wonders By Women is providing the space for students, in need of a volunteer opportunity, to assist with this large project. Thrivent is sponsoring this volunteer event, through their Thrivent Action Teams program. Thrivent has sponsored this event by giving the monetary support for all of the supplies needed to complete this project, as well as T-shirts for the participants and Volunteer Journals for the youth to take home with them.
