Hey, you! Yes, you. The one with all those crafting supplies that you know you will never use, don't want to throw away and need a place for them to go.
We have a place for you!
Giving is Good, Inc. is in need of Crafting Supplies for their Volunteer Work.
Giving Is Good, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization located in Green Bay, founded in 2019, with a mission to:
“Get good things into the hands of the people that need them.”
We use MANY craft supplies!! We do a lot of hand-making new items, repurposing old items, or enhancing existing items, to bring necessity, fun and/or some much-needed joy to those in need. Would you happen to have any of these items to donate?

YARN - for our “Inmates Helping OUT” and “Giving Is Golden” programs. The yarn can be new skeins, partially used, or rolled up yarn. ANY kinds/brands of yarn work. Hats, scarves, mittens, slippers, small bags, blankets, soap or jewelry sacks, washcloths, etc., are created with so much love!!

FLEECE or REGULAR FABRIC - for making pencil cases (to hold pencils, pens, pencil sharpener, crayons, glue stick and small scissors). Hand-made puppets, marble mazes, small tote bags, mini pillows, etc. are also created for children.

WISHED FOR ITEMS - fun/colorful stickers, organza-type small bags, ribbon used for tote bag handles, poly-fill, googly eyes, sheets of felt, jingle bells, wooden beads (round) with faces (or plain), and larger sized buttons. These items are for embellishing, creating toys, and finishing items to look nice.

We welcome people to partner with us, who wish to donate their hand-made items to our charity for use in our programs. Examples include: sewing pencil cases, small totes, etc., or knitting or crocheting items, etc.)

Items can be dropped off in our donation bin at: 2701 Larsen Road, Green Bay.
(We are just down the road from the Botanical Garden, past the stop sign, at the bottom of the hill. There’s a sign at the driveway that says, “The Startup Hub.” The bin is located immediately to your right inside the first set of doors.)
